GoDropBox is a cool third-party add-on for Google Apps that replicates some of the functionality from the ever popular DropBox, but with a unique twist! The Google Apps add-on allows files to be uploaded into a drop box that connects to Google Docs. After uploading a document, the account user will receive a confirmation email within their Gmail account with a link to the file--which opens in Google Docs.
This application is a useful alternative to Dropbox--the local file sharing/syncing application. In order to use GoDropBox, you’ll have to be a Google Apps user and an admin will have to install it on your domain.
